We provide in-depth psychological assessments for persons of any age, ranging from developmental and behavioral assessments for very young children to comprehensive neurocognitive and personality assessments for older children and adults. These evaluations are aimed at answering referral questions involving diagnostic clarity as well as identifying neurocognitive and psychological and behavioral sources for presenting problems in order to determine the most appropriate treatment protocols.
We provide psychotherapy and counseling in multiple modalities, including individual counseling and therapy, marriage and couples counseling, family therapy, child & adolescent treatment, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), group therapy, and consultations. All of our clinicians are able to provide a strong quality of consistent care and their work is carefully monitored; our practice has very little turnover in therapy patients and we regularly employ assessment procedures to monitor the effectiveness of service we provide.
Our group of licensed psychologists, therapists, and social workers provide an extensive range of services for children, adults, and families. Our various methods of psychotherapy and counseling, as well as psychological evaluation and assessment and ongoing family services and support help to provide the highest quality of mental health for our patients.
Dr. Michael Behen and the clinicians at The Imagine Center will formulate a treatment plan that is individually tailored to your needs. From initial intake interview, to psychological testing, to comprehensive followup appointments to explain your results, and effective counseling and therapy, we provide services that meet every client’s unique needs and goals.
Our front desk staff are pleased to answer any questions you may have and assist you with scheduling your appointments. Our skilled clinicians are empathetic and strive to promote mental and emotional well-being for all patients.
We accept most insurance plans, including most Medicaid plans and Medicare. In the event that your insurance does not cover services, we will try to work with the individual financial needs of each patient and ensure that you are able to receive the services you want and need.

We are located on the 2nd floor in the rear of the building, above the restaurant Midtown Zef’s at the corner of Woodward and Willis. There is street parking available on Willis and other nearby streets, as well as limited parking in the small private lot behind the restaurant. Enter through the back of the building and take the stairs or elevator to the 2nd floor. Please do not enter the building through the Midtown Zef’ s entrance.

We are located in an office building called Parkside Plaza. This building is located on Van Dyke Ave, just north of the roundabout at 18 1/2 Mile Rd. There is ample parking available in the parking lot. If your appointment falls within the hours of 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM, you have the option to enter through the back door; otherwise, enter through the front of the building; we are located on the 1st floor. Our office is located in suite #190, around the elevator area.

The office is located near Eight Mile and 275, between Newburgh and Victory Parkway. It is located by a Post Office (Near Newburgh) and Trinity Health (near Victor Parkway). The office is located in Pembroke Office Complex. Parking is available directly in front of the building.
